Prior to becoming a Financial Consultant, Grant Johnstone worked as an attorney in his own successful law practice in Houston, Texas.* This experience provided Grant with a keen personal understanding of business ownership, entrepreneurship, and law. In 1997, Grant became a Financial Consultant at Smith Barney, working alongside his father to build a national Financial Consulting practice.
In 2005, Grant formed Johnstone Financial Advisors to provide the services and investments of the largest firms, while also offering the personal attention and accountability of a boutique office. In 2017, Johnstone Financial Advisors grew to become its own Registered Investment Advisory Practice wherein the fiduciary standard is fully adopted and advisors are paid salaries (not commissions). This evolution sets Johnstone Financial Advisors apart in the industry – Putting the needs of clients first with competitive pricing, top credentialed CFP professionals, and personalized attention and service usually reserved for the most elite clientele.
